Hello everyone!
Today, I am going to show you how to make a pen decor.
Then let's get into it straight.
Step 1: Prepare
What you will need: Pencil/Pen, glitter(color paper if you don't have glitter), any smooth plastic, and a hole puncher.
Step 2: Making the butterfly shape
With two fingers, pinch the middle of a folded cut smooth plastic.
Adjust the side wings to make it look like a ribbon.
With a string, tie around the pinched middle area.
Your finished ribbon shape should look something like this:
Step 3: Include the decorations
Put in glitter or any type of decoration into the finished ribbon wings.
If you do not have any glitter, simply get any color paper and make holes with the hole puncher.
Then put the paper pieces into the ribbon wings!
Once you have done that, put glue on the upper inside areas of each wing and close it.
Your finished piece should look something like this:
Step 4: Making a holder for the Pen/Pencil
Wrap a tiny piece of paper around your pen/pencil.
If you have a bond glue, glue the back of the ribbon to the middle of the paper.
If you don't, then use tape.
Simply roll the tape and stick it to the back middle part of the ribbon.
Because the ribbon will stick to the paper, you can freely move the paper out of the pencil/pen - and slide it into a different pencil/pen too!
Just up to you on how you want to use it.
Let me show you an example of how mine looked when I slid the paper out.
Ta da! It looks great right?
Plus some images for how you should use it on your pencil/pen!
And that's pretty much it! Quite simple isn't it?
I hope you enjoyed crafting today.
Please stay tuned until next month when I upload the next post!
Bye:)
